7 Weeks Out until 10x Naturals

It's been a little over seven weeks since I began my prep for 10x Naturals. Much work has been done, but there's still room for more. My diet has been on point, but there were moments when my body needed more food/energy. I did implement a three-day refeed protocol, but this has been used once. Chances are I will implement it again throughout my prep, but I have to examine my physique because it's not something I have to do weekly or monthly. I only use it if I need it. Not just physically but mentally as well. While I started this prep around 134lbs-135lbs, I'm currently between 130lbs-131lbs. I don't need to lose too much weight. I feel like dropping 8lbs-10lbs of fat is perfect since I entered my prep in good physical condition.

While I still have seven more weeks left of my prep, I'm currently practicing my mandatory poses and posing routine. The Men's Classic Physique division requires me to create a solo posing presentation for Finals. This was challenging since I never competed in this category, but it didn't force me to throw in the towel and back down from my goal. This motivated me to seek resources and learn how to create an artistic posing routine. Throughout this process, I had to find a song that I felt would benefit my routine. While this was a long process, I finally found a song that was meaningful and beneficial to my presentation. The song I chose and submitted is No Women, No Cry by Geek Music.

Once again, I chose this song because it's something different. Not many true novice competitors chose a track that is slow and different. However, being different makes you stand out respectably. Creating or finding the poses was another challenging journey. I had to find poses that made my physique look powerful. Nevertheless, there weren't that many. This doesn't indicate that I wasn't in shape. One of the things I learned is that if the pose doesn't look good on you, don't use it. Nonetheless, I managed to find the proper poses that benefit my physique. Now, I have to continue practicing the routine until show day.
